AGES 4+
Early Phase One
Most parents are surprised to learn that orthodontic evaluation can — and often should — begin as early as age 4. At High Tide Orthodontics, Dr. Trev takes a proactive, growth-focused approach: identifying structural issues early, when the jaw and airway are still actively developing and most responsive to gentle guidance.
This isn't about rushing into braces. In fact, at most early visits Dr. Trev won't recommend treatment right away. But identifying risk factors for crowding, crossbite, airway narrowing, and breathing issues early can make an enormous difference in your child's long-term health — and their smile.
